Modeling Underway [Starcraft II Marine]
I’ve been working on models to build the Starcraft II marine suit from. The first step is to rough things out in low-polygon resolution, that’s about done.
Next comes NURBSing to smooth things out and add details with an eye towards accuracy, then modeling of the mechanical exoskeleton which will, hopefully, make the suit wearable. Might end up using some of those fancy Solidworks CAE tools finally, too.

Dang, ain’t it about as fast to just build it?
You are getting very talented at building images.
So, is all this going to be “unfoldable”?

This may sound foward of me, but is there any way I could get a copy of the 3d render you did of the terran marine so far? I am trying to put the terran marine armor into fallout 3…
and it is alittle confusing to fight good representation with decent proportions as a reference. What program did you use? 3D studio max? If you can please contanct me at

Any chance you can make this unfoldable as a pdo???
i know its a cheek to ask and not do the ground work myself but i’ve only just discovered paperkura and i’m not to good at virtual 3d imaging.
would really appriciate it and will send you progress pics of build.
have you given any thought to the sub frame as i mentioned in email????
