DOF Planning Diagram
I’ve been cleaning out a shop for this project, and meditating on it while I do so- here’s one of the main relevations: how many degrees of freedom the Starcraft Marine Powered Armor has.
For the uninitiated, a DOF is basically one dimension of jointyness- a finger or elbow hinge is one DOF, while a shoulder or hip is two, since it moves in two ways.
Essentially, there are 22, excluding the gauntlets and the 6 flaps.
